jollytails is pleased to offer a hands-on training and apprenticeship course for those looking to become professional dog trainers and dog behavior consultants, the first of its kind in Atlantic Canada.

customer service staff

We take a lot of pride in our upbeat, friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff. These positions would include welcoming clients, sales, bookings appointments, providing information on services and products. Sales experience is an asset, as is a great attitude. 
 

DOGGY DAYCARE ATTENDANTS

This position is responsible for managing and monitoring large groups of dogs ranging from small to large. This is a super-fun position for dog-lovers, but please keep in mind it is not always a great time. Things can get a little loud and hectic, there is lots of poop, pee and sometimes vomit. There is an outside area for dog play, so this will mean spending lots of time outside in rain, snow, wind and shine. Dogs range from very small to very large. You must be confident and physically strong enough to be able to handle dogs of all sizes. 
 

Pet Groomers

We are a very busy award-winning grooming shop! If you are an experienced groomer, we would love to hear from you. We offer a competitive wage (commission, vacation pay, statutory holiday pay). We don not provide groomer training, so candidates must have experience and be prepared to provide grooming services to all breeds. Signing bonus negotiable for the right person.

Dog Trainers

Our dog training is in very high demand. We offer courses ranging from puppy, to adolescence, to adult; along with specialty training which includes re-active dog, therapy dog, agility and more. Our lead trainer, Tristan Flynn, is highly-certified and experienced. If you're a trainer looking for a place to thrive, we want to hear from you.
